Gris

I spend a lot of time on the phone with my both my grandmas. They are extremely interesting and lively and have had very full lives. But not everything is rose, and some things clearly became more difficult as they grew older. One of those things was connecting with people and sharing their experience. The world is becoming increasingly digital, and the digital is becoming increasingly hostile to older people. Between the scam, the hard to read interfaces or the outright discrimations, the internet, let alone social media, is a hard place for the people with more life experience. I know that technology cannot solve every human problem, but I wanted to try. I wanted to create a small application that would be extremely usable, simple and targeted for older people. As they have so much things to share, I wanted it to be a workshop sharing experience. And as they sometimes have difficulties writing, I wanted to use a smart assistance and auto-completion system: Mar-IA. That when Gris was born. That is why Gris was born.
